Kotor is located in the heart of Kotor Bay which is the southernmost fjord on the planet. The nature surrounding this town merges into a single ensemble with a magnificent medieval architecture. The history of Kotor dates back to the 12th century. Its main attractions are concentrated in the area of he Old Town where a small space is crowded with a series of narrow streets, churches, cathedrals and squares. Thanks to its incredible atmosphere of antiquity, Kotor has become a platform for many bright festivals, such as International Summer Carnival in August when this old city is crowded with tens of thousands of guests from all over the world.
